Antonio Tizzano Honorary doctorate
The University of Padua will confer an Honorary Doctorate in Law on Antonio Tizzano. As a former Vice-President of the Court of Justice of the European Union, Tizzano has had an exceptional impact on the development of the Union’s legal system and he is one of the most influential legal scholars in Europe. The ceremony is by invitation only, but a live stream will be available. On Thursday 2 November at 10am in the Aula Magna at Palazzo del Bo. |

Marking the 100th anniversary of Italo Calvino’s birth, this exhibition will celebrate the imaginative power of fairy tales and rediscover the writer’s collection of Italian Fairy Tales. On display will be a vast selection of picture books and rewritings of classic tales, and visitors will also be able to take part in an interactive game. From 13 to 24 November in the Beato Pellegrino Library. |
